Speak The Word - Vol. 1 Categories 1 - 5

"Perfect Praise"

Our Heavenly Father has set forth a prescribed method within His Word by which the blessings of God are to be realized for the believer. This method is revealed to us in Romans 1:16-17 - "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."

As the just, those who are born-again, we are to take hold of the Word of God by faith and speak forth the Word as our personal possession, releasing our faith through our vocal profession of His Word. We need to speak out in authority and confidence, with the realization and knowing that this is our God given inheritance and covenant birthright.. We must realize that our words are containers that release the faith in our hearts; faith in God and faith in His Word. Mark Chapter 4 reveals that the Word of God is seed that is to be planted within our heart, which is designed and designated to bring forth a tremendous harvest for the believer.

We must understand that productive faith needs to be in operation in two places; in our heart and in our mouth. The Bible has much to say regarding this. Take a look at 2 Corinthians 4:13 - "And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak." Notice, belief in the heart being released through the mouth - words.

Look also at Romans 10:9-11 - "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."  Notice again, belief in the heart being released through the mouth - words. I also want to point out that in the Greek, the words "saved and salvation" have the meaning of deliverance, physical and emotional healing and complete wholeness with the implication that they are for us right here and now in the present and not just in a spiritual sense for eternity. What kind of deliverance do you need today? Healing? Freedom from financial bondage? Marital issues? Children? The laws of faith function the same in every one of these areas.

Regarding the importance of the words of our mouth, note the warning in Proverbs 18:21 - "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit."   Notice, it didn't say we might eat the fruit or produce of what we say - it said we will. One profound fact that we must take to heart as believers is that the Word of God IS absolute Truth - period. That which the Word of God declares is Truth and will come to pass.

Jesus also brought forth some very strong revelation regarding the words we speak in Matthew 12:37 - "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."   We can clearly see that our words are extremely powerful and must be used properly if we're going to walk in the fullness of His intended blessing..

When God created the world, He used words (Genesis chapter one), and this creation process is spoken of in Hebrews 11:3 - "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible."   The Greek word for "word" in this verse is Rhema, which means the spoken word. What kind of world are you framing with the words of your mouth?

As born-again children of God (Romans 8:16-17), we are now in His family (Ephesians 3:15) with all of the rights and privileges, and we are told in Ephesians 5:1 to be imitators of God as dearly loved children. We need to rise up and begin to function in God's prescribed method that has been designated for the church to take hold of our intented blessings and begin to function in real Bible faith.

As His own children, we have a mandate for this very purpose. 1 Peter 2:9-10 - "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy."   One of the ways we proclaim His praises is by declaring His Word, that which He has made available to us. AND His Word is always productive and never returns void - Isaiah 55:11.

I love this verse in Psalm 107:2 - "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy."

If you are born-again, having professed Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you are the redeemed, and it's time for the redeemed of the Lord to rise up against the lies of the enemy and say so! We need to begin to say what we believe. Say who we are in Christ. Say what belongs to us, and say what we can do in and through Him. It's time to take back what the enemy has stolen. It's time for the redeemed of the Lord to take hold of faith, take hold of the Word, our covenant rights and Say So!

Below are five categories of God's Word that pertain to our covenant rights as believers in Christ: Healing, Victory & Overcoming, Fear & Peace, Our Identity as a Believer and Forgiveness. You will see scriptures with a "Say So" underneath, which is a profession of your faith that embodies the above Scripture or Scriptures. This "Say So" or vocalization of your faith is written in the first person tense, so that you can authoritively and boldly declare what you are believing in your heart. Speak them out when ever doubt arises. Answer that doubt or fear with the Word of God and your profession of faith. This can not be done too often.

1 John 5:4 - "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith." Faith in God is victory all of the time! Be blessed.

Healing

1 Peter 2:24 - (Jesus) who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were healed.

Say So: Father, I thank You that Jesus bore all of my sins and took stripes for all of my sicknesses. Since Jesus bore them for me, they have no place in me. Therefore I receive Your free gift of grace and agree with Your Word by calling myself healed!

Psalm 34:19 - Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.

Galatians 3:13 - Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us...

Say So: Because of what Jesus did for me on the cross, I am delivered from the hold of sin and sickness and have the right to be free from every affliction that may come my way. Jesus paid the price for me and has redeemed me from the bondage of the curse. Therefore, I am saturated with His blessing of health and wholeness. It's mine now!

Romans 8:11 - But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal (natural, earthly) bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Say So: Father, because I have confessed Jesus as my Lord and Savior, Your precious Holy Spirit is dwelling within me. Therefore, my present, natural body is continually being infused with resurrection power and life. The healing power of God is flowing through my body now, making my body healthy and strong.

Jeremiah 30:17 - For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds, saith the Lord.

3 John 2 - Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Say So: Father, I thank you for revealing Your will to me through Your Word. I thank You for the restoration of my health and for providing new life for me. I receive my health today and thank You for Your plan of prosperity, increase and wholeness in every area of my life. Therefore, I say: I am healed and I am blessed!

Psalm 103:2-5 - Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Say So: Because my sins have been forgiven, health, healing and deliverance belong to me as a free gift from the Lord. Thank You Lord, for encircling me daily with the many benefits of your grace! My strength is renewed and I am satisfied with the abundance of your goodness daily!

John 8:36 - Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Romans 8:2 - For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Say So: Thank You, Jesus, I am indeed free from poverty, sickness and disease, for my life is governed by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Therefore, I am free from the law of sin, death and the effects of death. I am increasing in health daily and call myself absolutely whole and made free!

Isaiah 54:17 - No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord.

Say So: I condemn the attack of sickness and disease and command it to fail and leave my body now! Sickness and disease do not belong to me. No weapon formed against me can or will prosper, for I am a redeemed child of God. Divine healing, health and wholeness are my covenant rights from the Lord!

Romans 8:16-17 - The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs - heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ...

Romans 8:32 - He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Say So: Thank You, Father, for Your love poured out to me. I am Your child now and a joint heir with Jesus. I receive Your free gift of healing and wholeness that You intend for me to have. Healing belongs to me now and is my right as a child of God!

Psalm 107:20 - He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Psalm 118:17 - I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

Say So: Jesus is my deliverer who was sent to bring about my healing and wholeness; spirit, soul and body. Therefore, I take hold of the finished work of the cross and command sickness and disease to leave my body now. According to the healing promises of the Word I say: I shall NOT die but live and declare the works of the Lord!!!

Mark 11:23-24 - (Jesus said) For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Say So: I speak to all manner of sickness and disease and command you to leave my body now. You have no place here for I am a child of God. I make a demand on my body to come in line with the perfect will of God and produce a strong immune system and healthy environment that enforces life.

Psalm 91:9-11 - Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.

Say So: The Lord is my refuge and dwelling place, therefore evil has no place in my life and any and all sickness or disease is off limits in my body. I belong to the Lord and He is my life and has given His angels charge over me. Thank You, Lord, for Your great love for me - I am the healed and not the sick.

Proverbs 4:20-22 - My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health (medicine) to all their flesh.

John 6:63 - …The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

Say So: The Word of God is life and health to me, and it is medicine to all my flesh. As I stand in faith upon the Word, the Life of God is flowing through my body, infusing me with health. Everything that is not health producing must go from me now in Jesus' Name.

Victory & Overcoming

2 Corinthians 9:8 - And God is able to make all grace [favor and empowerment] abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

Say So: The favor and empowerment of God's grace is abounding toward me daily. Therefore, I have more than enough to succeed in everything I do. I am not going under in life and because I am In Christ, I rejoice that I am richly going over!

2 Corinthians 2:14 - Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph [causes us to triumph] in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

Colossians 2:15 - Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it [the cross].

Say So: No matter what comes my way, my God has promised that He will cause me to triumph and succeed. The devil may try to stop me, but he is a defeated foe and the victory of the cross has been given to me.

Romans 8:31-33 - If God is for us, who can be against us [and succeed]? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things.

Isaiah 54:17 - No weapon formed against you shall prosper…

Say So: Since my God is for me, I proclaim that I am a winner and a success through Him. I am a victorious child of God. My God has already made provision for all that I need and it is available to me now. No weapon formed against me can or will prosper!

1 Corinthians 15:57 - But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:37 - Yet in all these things [the trials of life] we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Say So: Thank You, Lord, that You have given me the right to an overcoming, victorious life. Because of what Jesus did for me on the cross, I am now more than a conqueror. I will not magnify the problem, but will focus on the truth of Your Word, that in You I am an overcomer now!

1 John 4:4 - You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Say So: Though tests and trials are all around me, I will not be moved by them. My God is in me, and is far greater than anything that can come my way. I declare boldly that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens and makes a way for me! I am blessed with His best!

John 16:33 - These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace [every kind of good]. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

Psalm 34:19 - Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Say So: I will not be moved by worry, dread or fear. Jesus has given me the victory and in Him I win. Thank You, Lord, for Your peace that provides every kind of good, in every situation for me. No matter what comes my way, You will bring me through to victory.

Mark 11:22-23 - (Jesus said) "Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says."

Say So: I make the choice to place my faith in God and His overcoming power that He has made available to me. In Christ, I proclaim by faith that I am an overcomer, a mountain mover, an earth shaker and a history maker. As a born-again child of God, I overcome all obstacles that come my way. This is my birthright - this is my inheritance in Christ.

Psalm 40:1-3 - I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me [turned to me], and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth - Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear [worship], and will trust in the Lord.

Say So: I will wait patiently for the Lord. He is attentive to me as His beloved child. He is my deliverer and He is bringing me out into a wonderful place in life. I will sing His praise, even in the midst of the storm, and will emerge with a testimony of His grace and mercy that will inspire faith in those who hear. He is my Rock and I am blessed.

John 5:4-5 - For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Say So: Because I am born-again, I am a world overcomer! Victory belongs to me and is my God given right. My faith in God and His Word is powerful and brings about great and wonderful results. I am destined to win. I am a miracle, looking for a place to happen!

Jude 24 (Amplified Version) - Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight].

Say So: I rejoice at the provision of my God in every situation in life. He is with me continually, and will make a way for me even when it appears there is no way of escape. I will come through unblemished, untouched and with a song of praise in my heart for the great things He has done.

Psalm 5:12 - For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous [those who know God]; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Say So: As a born-again child of God, I declare that I am blessed and surrounded on every side by His divine favor. His favor opens doors for me that no man can shut. Therefore, I am confident that all things are working together for my good now, because I love God and am called according to His purpose.

Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents [poison in the head] and scorpions [poison in the tail], and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Say So: As a born-again child of God, I have been given God's authority to trample over all the power of the enemy, from the head to the tail, and nothing shall harm me. Devil, I command you in Jesus' Name to be removed from me and my business. Go Now!

Fear & Peace

2 Timothy 1:7 (Amplified Version) - For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

1 Corinthians 2:16 - …but we have the mind of Christ.

Say So: Because I am born again, I am one with Christ, and I have the right to the mind of Christ. Therefore, I will not fear. Fear will not lord itself over me. The Spirit of God dwells in me, and His power and love have been poured out in my heart and He has given me the right to peace. Fear, go from me now in Jesus' Name. I take hold of my peace now.

Luke 12:32 - (Jesus said:) Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. [all that He is and all that He has]

1 Peter 5:7 - Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares [affectionately] for you.

Say So: Because of what has been given to me through the cross, I refuse to allow fear to dominate my thoughts. I cast all care, anxiety, fear and worry upon the Lord and take hold of my realized blessing through the Word that has been provided for me. I am a kingdom recipient now - I have the love and favor of God resting upon me now - I am blessed!

1 John 4:18-19 - There is no fear in love; but perfect love [God's Agape Love] casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love [has not realized the strength that is in the fullness of His love]. We love Him because He first loved us.

Say So: Thank You, Lord, for the strength of Your perfect and unwavering love for me. I realize that fear is not from You but is a tool of the devil to bring me into the place of torment. You came to give me peace, love and joy. I look to You and will trust in Your Word. I cast off fear and take on your love and peace. Thank You for precious love.

John 14:27 (Amplified Version) - Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]

Isaiah 9:6 - …and His name will be called… Prince of Peace

Say So: I refuse to give in any longer to the spirit of fear. Jesus has provided me with His perfect peace. I take hold of His peace now in Jesus' Name. I am a child of God, I am one with Jesus Christ now, I am one with The Prince of Peace now. Peace is my inheritance and my right. I command fear to leave in Jesus Name.

Philippians 4:6-8 - Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy - meditate [ponder or think] on these things.

Say So: I refuse to worry. I will not dwell on the negative circumstances in life, but will instead look to the promises of the Word of God and place my focus upon them. I receive the peace of God now.

Psalm 34:4,6 - I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

Romans 8:31 - What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Say So:: Because I am a born-again child of God, I belong to Him and He is well able to protect and care for me. I refuse to fear, and I will take hold of His Word, His Truth, and trust Him to pull me through. He will not refuse me because I am His. Thank You, Lord!

Isaiah 54:17 - No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn [show to be in the wrong]. This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord.

Say So: I choose to take hold of the Truth of God's Word and believe that no weapon formed against me can or will prosper. I condemn every attack of the devil with the Truth of the Word of God. Peace, security and victory are my God given inheritance. Thank You, Lord, for Your Truth, and that You are with me, and will make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19).

Psalm 46:1-3 - God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah [pause and calmly think about this]

Say So: Why should I give in to fear? My God is with me continually and He is my place of security and strength. His Word is Truth and He will shield and protect me even though it appears like everything is falling apart. He will fulfill His Word and bring me through with an exciting testimony of His love and grace! In Him I am an overcomer.

Psalm 27:1 - The Lord is my light [life sustenance] and my salvation [wholeness, deliverance, peace and victory]; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 46:10 - Be still, and know that I am God… [your refuge, strength and deliverer]

Say So: Since God Almighty is with me, I will not give in to fear. He is my deliverer and there is no one stronger than He. I put my trust in Him and shake off fear. I trust in His Word. He is Life, He is Love, He is Almighty and I am His child (Romans 8:16-17). Thank You, Lord, for Your great Love for me - I give You praise!

Isaiah 41:10 - Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed [discouraged, at a loss of what to do], for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand [of strength and faithfulness].

Psalm 118:6 - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.
What can man do to me?

Say So: I am not alone for my God is always with me. Fear and dread have no place in me and I command them to go now in Jesus' Name. I look to You Lord for Your leading. I look to You and the promises within Your Word and allow Your strength to fill me. Thank You for Your peace flowing through me now. I am Yours and You are mine.

Isaiah 26:3-4 - You will keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord God, is everlasting strength.

Psalm 73:28 - But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all Your [mighty] works.

Say So: I put my trust in You, Lord, and receive the abundance of your perfect, complete and continual peace. Your peace is my inheritance as Your child. Fear and dread have no place in my life. I am led by Your Spirit, Lord, and You will lead me into victory in every area of life. I praise You, Lord, and thank You for Your overcoming grace.

Colossians 3:15-16 - And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ [His promises] dwell in you richly in all wisdom… [take hold of the peace they produce because they are absolute truth].

Say So: I make up my mind right now to allow the promises of the Word of God to rule my understanding for they are Truth. I reject fear and take hold of the peace of God that comes from believing the Word. This peace is mine now and rules and reigns in my heart. Fear will not lord itself over me. I am a child of God and no weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). I am an overcomer now in Jesus' Name!

Our Identity as Believers

Acts 26:18 - (Jesus said: I came) to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.

Say So: I believe that Jesus is my Lord and Savior, therefore I have been turned from darkness to light and from all the power of Satan to God. All of my sins have been forgiven and I have received a rich inheritance, having been set apart from the world by faith in Christ.

Ephesians 3:20 - Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Say So:: Because I am a believer, the power of God is at work in me. Therefore, I know that my God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that I could ever ask or imagine.

2 Peter 1:3-4 - As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Say So: As a believer, I have received all things that pertain to life and the Christian walk; I have no lack. I am a recipient of His Word and therefore a partaker of His divine nature. The corruption that is in the world through lust has no hold on me.

Philippians 3:13-14 - …but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Say So: By faith, I am forgetting and letting go of the things of the past and reaching forward to take hold of the things which are ahead, provided by the Lord. It is my goal in life to continue to press toward the wonderful destiny He has provided for me.

2 Corinthians 5:21 - For He made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Say So: Because of what Jesus did for me upon the cross, taking all of my sin upon Himself, I am now the righteousness of God in Christ. A great exchange has taken place and what I used to be has passed away. I am now a new creation in Him.

Galatians 3:13 - Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law (poverty, sickness and separation from God)…

Ephesians 1:3 - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ

Say So: Praise the Lord! Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. I am now a partaker of the fullness of the rich blessing that has been given to me through Christ Jesus. I am rich in Him!

Romans 8:16-17
- The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs - heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer [endure hardship] with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Say So: I am an heir of God and a joint heir with Jesus Christ. The Spirit of God dwells in me and affirms this right. No matter what test, trial or temptation may come my way, I will endure because He is with me. His strength will bring me through to a glorious end.

Ephesians 2:8-10 - For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship [masterpiece], created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Say So: By the gift of God's grace, I have received salvation and all the rights and privileges that it includes. My Heavenly Father has fashioned me in Christ to carry out a uniquely designed destiny which He planned beforehand and is revealing to me through His Word and by His Spirit.

Colossians 1:13-14 - He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed [transferred] us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Say So: As a born-again child of God, I rejoice because all of my sins are forgiven. The love of God has been poured out to me through Jesus Christ and I have been delivered from the power of darkness and transferred into His glorious kingdom and family with all of the rights and privileges. I am blessed.

Romans 5:17 - For if by the one man's offense [Adam's sin] death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace [favor and empowerment] and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Say So: Praise the Lord! Because of what Jesus did for me on the cross, I have received His abundance of grace, favor and empowerment and the gift of His righteousness - my sins being forgiven. Therefore, He has ordained for me to reign victoriously in life through Jesus Christ. Circumstances will not reign over me, but I will reign over them. I am a winner.

Daniel 11:32 - …but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.

Ephesians 6:10 - Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Say So: As a child of God, I will not focus on weakness and failure but will instead declare that I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I am developing in my relationship with my God. His strength is causing me to accomplish great and wonderful things in this life. Failure is not an option for me.

Proverbs 3:24-26 - When you lie down, you will not be afraid; Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet. Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes; For the Lord will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught.

Say So: Fear and torment have no place in my life. I am redeemed, and my God is always with me. He gives me an abundance of peace and rest. No matter what comes my way, I am secure in the Lord and have nothing to worry about. The devil is defeated and I am victorious in Christ Jesus.

Forgiveness

Matthew 6:14-15 - For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

John 13:34 - A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

Say So: I make the choice to forgive, recognizing that forgiveness is not based on how I feel, but is an extension of the law of Kingdom love and a commandment. I choose to forgive and walk in obedience to the Word.

Colossians 3:13 (NIV) - Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Ephesian 5:1-2 - Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love…

Say So: Lord, you forgave me as an act of Your great love when I was steeped in sin. As your child, I make the choice to forgive, just as You made the choice to forgive me. I will imitate You and walk in love and forgive. Thank You for strengthening me in this decision.

Ephesians 4:31-32 - Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

1 John 4:7 - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God

Say So: I will not give in to bitterness, wrath, anger, or resentment, nor will I give in to speaking evil of others. Regardless of how others treat me, I will do my best to respond with kindness and the love of God. I choose to forgive; I choose the love of God.

Matthew 18:21-22 - Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven."

1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (NIV) - Love is patient, love is kind… it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Say So: I choose to walk in the love of God and forgive others. I will not be easily angered, nor will I keep a record of the wrongs done toward me. I will continue to forgive with the same forgiveness the Lord has toward me.

Luke 6:37 - (Jesus said) Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

Matthew 7:12 - Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Say So: As a child of God, I will treat others the way I want to be treated. I will refrain from judging and condemning others. I choose to forgive and will respond to others with the love of God. This is what I am called to do.

Romans 12:20-21- If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

2 Corinthians 5:14 - For the love of Christ compels us [controls, urges & moves us to Christ-like action].

Say So: As a born-again child of God, I am compelled with the love of God. When people wrong me, I will respond with His love. I will not repay evil with evil, but will overcome evil with the awesome power of the love of God.
